Scenario: You have been asked to submit a report to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) as part of a wider policy and funding review of the UK events sector. Specifically, you have been asked to report on the concept of ‘event legacies’. Your report should:
?Establish what the concept of legacy refers to;
?Introduce and review a range of legacy effects associated with staging an event;
?Provide a range of event legacy examples with which to contextualize your discussion. These may be in the form of specific events and / or destinations and may be UK or international in nature;
?Acknowledge the challenges and limitations of a legacy approach, which should include key lessons for event / destination management stakeholders;
?The report may utilise policy and popular media sources, but should primarily be underpinned by academic sources

Method of Submission: Via Turnitin / Blackboard (hard copy not required)

Word Limit: 2, 500 words (+/-10%)
