Workplace Engagement

Write a workplace engagement paper using a combination of sources to include the webtext, scholarly (peerreviewed) journal articles, academic, and/or credible professional sources. Don’t forget the two concepts of
employee engagement and employee satisfaction differ, so be sure to make a distinction in your workplace
engagement paper. For this assignment, you may use first-person language (“I”) as the CEO of an organization
to discuss how you would integrate the findings about drivers for engagement in your day-to-day functions
(staffing, training, motivation and communications).
Best practices are to use headers and/or topic sentences to draw attention to each assignment
question/prompt. Remember to:

  1. Include an academic title page
  2. Write a paper that is at least 3 pages long
  3. On a separate page, include a list of References that shows a maximum of 5 references in APA style
Studies on workplace engagement have identified that while drivers for engagement may depend on
generations, position and other factors, there are some drivers that emerge as important for all employees,
regardless of these differences: the way in which senior managers communicate with employees and
    employee voice.
As the CEO of an organization, discuss how you would integrate these findings in your day-to-day functions
(staffing, training, motivation and communications). Specifically, what is your strategy for:
  4. Making the link between employees’ work and the broader organizational goals?
  5. Ensuring that employees have a voice—so as to express their views, opinions and recommendations and
    have them taken seriously?
  6. Sharing the vision of the organization and inspire employees to fulfill that purpose and achieve the vision?
