Order Description
There are many issues, populations, and approaches for scholars and practitioners to consider as we engage in research and practice about women in higher education. Each student will identify a specific population of women in higher education (e.g., first-generation undergraduate students, faculty of color, parenting administrators, provosts, doctoral students in the STEM fields). Upon identifying a topic, the student will a) review the literature about the topic, b) interview at least three people who have experience with the issue, or are members of the population under
investigation, c) and prepare a written report that synthesizes, analyzes, and compares the information from the literature and the interviews.
