1. Research the historical development, political culture, and institutional arrangements within these countries, including both formal institutions and informal ones, and hypothesize what could explain the difference in their democracy levels.
2. Present your research, evidence and explanation about the reasons for the success or failure of democracy in a well-written, logical and structured research paper.
