Find a website that relates to the content in one of the chapters covered in this unit. Do NOT use a .gov or .edu
website. Do NOT use a "website" from a journal or library compilation database (eg. JStore, JAMA, etc.)
Websites that are .com or .org or .bz etc are ok to use, and are preferred.
Post your website review here. Be sure to use APA formatting for ALL source material. Reviews need a
reference list for all for referred or quoted material, including the textbook.
Use citations for material you summarize from the website and the textbook, and also for quoted material.
Quotations are not included in the word count. A minimum of 350 words are required for the review. Include a
word count at the end of the review.
The review needs to contain the following information, in four separate paragraphs:
- A summary of the information on the website, including the author/site owner, and indicate how the website
relates to the textbook chapter. - An analysis of the credibility of the information on the website. See the Assignments Module for directions.
- An analysis of the website for bias. See the Assignments Module for directions.
- A judgement of what you would use the website information for (eg. personal information, a starting point for
research, a source for a report, etc.) or if you would use it at all, and why.
End the review with a reference list.
