Value-add Flow Chart Assignment

Perform a value-add flow analysis on a real process of your own choosing. More information, and examples to follow, can be found at

added process steps. (3.5 points). Make a brief, to-the-point statement on your observations on the efficiency of the process, based on your findings as shown in your

flow time. You may use a bullet-point list for this. (2 points). Then, give your recommendations, with rationale, on at least one process improvement (2 point). Limit

your flow chart and observation to no more than four pages. All writing must be double-spaced. Bulleted lists are fine. You must use a real production process, and you

may not use making a coffee, tea, or espresso drink. A write- up is not required for this assignment.
