Develop an informational pamphlet (trifold) about a pre-approved nutrition-related disease. You must email the
professor to have your disease topic approved. Check syllabus for approval date. The template for the
pamphlet is on D2L. Be mindful that you print the pamphlet double-sided and choose ‘flip pages on short end’
when printing.
The completed pamphlet will be graded based on the following (up to 5 points for each):
1) What is the disease and what is the cause
2) How is the disease diagnosed
3) Prevalence of the disease
4) Population that this disease effects
5) Treatments
6) Prognosis
7) Importantly: How does nutrition relate to the disease.
8) Also, very important: credible references. Internet resources should be .org, .gov or .edu
9) Attention should be paid to the grammar and spelling
