Compare contrast the two readings

Compare using the specific suggestion given in the prompt, or in another way. This essay should be controlled by an argumentative thesis statement: which author is more effective or persuasive and why? You should not compare one whole essay to another; choose aspects of interest to you. Begin by identifying each author’s main theme or argument, establish how they are similar, and then clarify their key difference(s). This may require a two-sentence thesis. In the first, give your opinion, and in the next, tell how you’ll develop your comparison. Use point-by-point, block, or combination organization. In addition to citing and discussing the content of the authors’ arguments, you should discuss and evaluate their evidence, tone, style, and/or any persuasive strategies you notice.
