Training session with a group of police officers

Imagine that you are a police supervisor, and you are conducting a training session with a group of police officers who are joining a new task force to combat street-level drug sales. This task force will consist of one sergeant supervisor and 10 officers drawn from the patrol division. All officers must have 2 years of patrol experience. For this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation in which you will discuss the topics listed below.
 Include the purpose of the task force and the mission statement for the task force.
 Explain the roles and function of the new task force within the department, including where its authority comes from and the enforcement actions that it will take.
 Provide at least three ways in which the new task force can build its cohesiveness.
 Include information about how the task force’s performance will be evaluated, including why supervisory performance evaluations are important and the purpose and goals of the evaluations (which could include whether the task force continues or is disbanded).
Feel free to use your favorite search engine to locate examples of similar task forces from which you can pull source information. Also, you can refer back to Chapter 6 in your textbook and review the 2020 Drug Enforcement Administration National Drug Threat Assessment document for help in creating your PowerPoint presentation.
Your presentation should consist of at least 10 slides and should include speaker notes. The slide count will not include the title slide or references slide. At least two references should be used for this presentation, one of which can be your textbook. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.
