Order Description In the first written assignment, you will pick a political news topic and examine its coverage in different media forms e.g newspapers and online with specific reference to the form and topic’s position in the theories we study. This is a 2500 word academic essay, Late submissions will not be accepted. It is important to note that this is an academic paper, and must contain the structural elements and analysis appropriate to MA-level work (e.g. abstract, literature review, analytical frameworks etc…). Proper presentation is also required (e.g. title page w/ abstract, headings and subheads, page numbers, etc…) It is strongly recommended that one of the many report templates included with MS Word be utilised. As this is a journalism unit, in a master’s level journalism course, grammar and the clarity of argument will play a large role in your submission’s evaluation, so you are strongly encouraged to edit with this in mind.
