Step 1) Draw a time management matrix and estimate what percentage of your time (non-sleeping) you spend
in each quadrant. The total of the percentages must sum to 100%.
Step 2) Then log your time for three days in 30-minute intervals. Enter this data on an Excel spreadsheet file.
(You may use the Sample Time Tracking Log, or you may create your own spreadsheet.) Specify the quadrant
associated with each 30-minute interval. NOTE: You must complete Step 1 above BEFORE you start logging
your time in Step 2
Step 3) Now write a 2-page reflection paper: How accurate was your estimate (Step 1)? Are you satisfied with
the way you spend your time (Step 2)? What do you need to change?
