The paper will require students to utilize one or more of the books from an original theorist, 10 journal articles, and one video of a master therapist doing the model (Violet Oaklander). The paper must include the following components.
- A background of evidence for what why the specific model was chosen for the specific population.
- An assessment of the group includes inclusion and exclusionary criteria.
- A treatment plan with specific targets for treatment.
- What does the research say about the chosen problem?
- How does someone from the model conceptualize problems?
- What interventions are used in the model?
- What interventions would you use for this problem.
- What additional information did you learn from reading the primary author?
- An analysis of a session including text and analysis of questions and interventions used in the session.
- A section examining what was learned from the communication analysis including what was learned about how the therapist acts, how they helped the individual progress, and the therapeutic process.
