The stakeholders and project drivers.

Conduct a pre-evaluation on the floor nursing staff through pre-questionnaire and survey to understand the barriers and how well educated the staff is on Foley Catheter care, and documentation in Cerner. From gathered data, I will provide education through Powerpoint using email, and obtain data post through the survey/questionnaire to evaluate the effectiveness of the PowerPoint education. This is a project that is being implemented at the California Health Care Facility, men's prison. See attached documents for the first two portions.

Below are the questions that need to be addressed for this portion.

For this part of the project, you will develop a project plan that details the project timeline, activities, and resources. Write an essay (1,000–1,500 words) addressing the following:

  1. Identify the stakeholders and project drivers.
  2. Discuss project milestones, timeline, tasks, activities, and resources.
  3. Discuss project methodologies and processes used in the design and management of the project.

For questions#3 this is something I have written if you like to incorporate since it gives an Idea.

Methodologies are different methods or actions taken to investigate a research problem and the rationale for the application of specific procedures used to identify, select, process and analyze information applied to understand the problem, and overall evaluate the validity and reliability (Organizing Your Social Sciences Research Paper: 6. The Methodology, n.d.). For the project, I will be seeking out the help of my preceptor, the nurse leader in the education department to identify best practices related to nursing operations that are currently applicable to my workplace per policies and procedures. I will also do pre-questionnaire from the floor nurses in regards to their knowledge on Foley catheter care and documentation in Cerner. After gathering the data, will provide educational material such as PowerPoint through email communication. After the content is provided, nurses will have time to use the education provided and apply to the floor nursing. After a few weeks, another post questionnaire will be obtained to gather data on the effectiveness of the provided training. Throughout the project, I will be the primary contact for leadership for nurses to be able to seek out for clarification and identify through observation and communication on the project.
