The sociology field

In the sociology field there are two types of research approaches positivism and Interpretivism. Positivists believe in trends and patterns. Positivists believe that these shape the person and what affects them. Interpretivism tends to raise the argument that people are not puppets who tend to react to external forces of society (Patten et al.,2017). Interpretivism believes that people are more complicated and complex.
