The Roots of Debate and the Hope of Dialogue

The Roots of Debate and the Hope of Dialogue

Order Description

What my teacher wants from a reading Response: This should be no less than half a page, no more than one page. It should start with your gut reaction. It should also
include a statement of what the author’s purpose seems to be and how the author tries to achieve that purpose. Who, do you think, lies within the intended audience?
Who lies outside this audience? Give some ideas about what seems important to the writer, and then what is most important to you – even if it’s something you don’t
completely understand. Since all these readings will be focused in some way on animals and nature, try to comment briefly on the context within which each one does so,
and how one might put this essay in conversation with the other essays you’ve read this semester, or other things you are reading/viewing/studying.
