left-wing populist movements throughout history. As discussed in the Mudde and Kaltwasser reading, populism consists of 3 core components – the people, the elite, and the general will. Keeping this in mind, identify a left-wing populist movement that took place at some point in the last hundred years. What makes this movement a populist movement?
