Writing Instruction
After reading the materials, briefly summarize the development and features of bitcoin. Then explain why or why not bitcoin can serve as money and even replace the current fiat money system.
You should analyze based on the three functions of money. It is totally fine that you have the same arguments as in the readings, DO NOT quote the original texts. Try to explain your understanding with your own words.
You are encouraged to use data and figures to support your point, just make sure that you cite the source properly.
Do not commit plagiarism. If you read other materials in addition the above two ones (which is not necessary), list them in reference at the end your essay. That should include the title, author(s), when and where it is published/issued.
You should write this essay in a Word file. 1-2 pages, 12-point Times New Roman font, normal margins.
