The hedonist ethical philosophy

Organize a class on the hedonist ethical philosophy known as stoicism, specifically on the idea that the wise
man will act only to control his responses to events, never to change the course of events themselves. State
how you would organize your material, go over both strong and weak points of this ethical theory, and identify
its relationship to other forms of hedonism as a theory of the Good Life. What impression of this moral
philosophy would you wish to leave with your students?
