The Great Gatsby

4-6 minute exterior monologue of Daisy Buchanan.
Setting: 20 years after Gatsby’s death, she is recounting her past experiences to her daughter.
She is talking about the event: when she meets and falls in love with Gatsby at her house but then decides to marry Tom when Gatsby leaves for war. (Explaining the time period between meeting Gatsby for the first time and getting married to Tom Buchanan.) Needs to explain her emotions at that event/time period and talk about her attitude, values,beliefs, desires and motivations. Must have evidence from the novel to explain her response to this event. Needs to show how/why this event is significant to Daisy.
She is telling her daughter this story because Pammy is repeating her past (she has also fallen in love with a poor boy) , so Daisy is advising her daughter.
