3/ What is the definition of popular culture? What are some of the different ways scholars have viewed popular culture? What do we have to gain from analyzing it?

4/ The Alien series is so central to the first half of the book because of its ability to be interpreted in multiple ways. Choose a cultural text/set of related texts (film series, TV series, book series, etc.) that lends itself/lend themselves well to multiple types of analysis as seen in chapter one. Provide an in-depth interpretation, utilizing three of the forms of analysis from chapter one.
