In the capitalist system, technological change is biased toward saving labor (rather than capital). This is especially true of process innovation, but is also of product development. Increases in productivity instances may (or may not) eventually lead to increasing standards of living for workers, but also may lead to the "degradation of work." Write a 3-4 page essay (750-1,000 words) on what factors affect the choice of technology and how do they affect workers?
