staffy study on a vulnerability
staffy study on a vulnerability
Project description
develop a staff study on one of the exploits and vulnerabilities listed below. This staff study is to include a managerial description of exploit/vulnerability for the
non-technical reader, a description with workarounds and solutions, and a recommendation. Attachment 1 is to be a detailed technical description of the exploit,
including what makes it possible and an analysis of published exploit code. Attachments 2 and beyond should contain code samples, including examples of vulnerable
code, if available, and exploit code. The total document should reflect 3 levels, the top-most managerial level of the basic staff study, the technical level of the
first attachment, and the detailed-technical level of the other attachments. (One view of this is that the basic staff study is for the non-technical manager,
attachment 1 is for your technical boss, and attachments 2 and over are for you and your team mates who have to come up with a solution or understand the solution to
be able to give it a thorough test.)
The format for the staff study may be found in the USAF Tongue and Quill. A link to this document can be found above.
