“Sport: Mental and physical benefits”

Statement of Specific Purpose: To inform my audience of how sports can benefit our health differently.
Central Idea: Sport can benefit our health by improving our physical and mental health. And it also helps kids to have a healthy life.
Introduction

  1. Attention: what comes to your mind when somebody mentions sports? Most people will think about rough sports such as football, boxing, and rugby. And If I ask to imagine someone who practices Sport at regular paces the first thing that will come to your mind is a stringy person But that is wrong Sport is way beyond that. Sport is a lifestyle, panacea, and an addict that will improve your life in many aspects.
  2. Reveal Topic: Today I want to inform about three positive health benefits of Sport.
  3. Relate to the audience: I would like to tell you about some of the beautiful ways that Sport can improve your health.
  4. Speaker credibility: I have been playing soccer since I was seven years old, and I still play it, and through time I saw the benefits of sport in all the aspects of my life. I also worked as a soccer coach for a junior team. Besides that, I also do swimming, hiking, and volleyball periodically. I’ve also done a lot of research on this subject using blogs, scholarly journals, and other resources.
  5. Review main point: Three of many benefits of Sport are: good physical and mental health, and how children benefit from sports. And I’ve done a lot of research on this subject using blogs, scholarly journals, and other resources.
