Song analysis

Pick a song from the list in the Paper 2 Module and compare it to any song or songs by David Bowie that we
discussed in this class to highlight similarities that might be interpreted as either influences from Bowie on the
listed songs or similarities that show shared influences.
Treat this paper as both a traditional research paper - using sources, etc. - and as a creative project - coming
up with your own ideas.
Try to have an even balance of the creative and the researched but be sure that you support your ideas and be
sure that they are plausible.
Since Bowie's music is inextricable from his ideas of image and mythology, extra musical ideas are acceptable
but you should still focus on the content of the songs themselves.
The paper should be no fewer than 5 pages, be double-spaced with a 12-point font and include at least 3
bibliographic items.
