these data)
*A sample lab report is attached as a file.
*The layout of the report:
-Table of contents
-Abstract
-Introduction
-Explanation
The detailed explanation about the tests the report includes. How the tests are carried out. For
what reason the test are conducted. Where are the results used? We use the results to solve
which kind of problems.
-Evaluation
The evaluation of the tests carried out at the laboratory. The report must include the tables you
have calculated the tests such as liquid limit. The related figures of the tests should be shown.
For example anyone must mention on the figure how he/she determines the liquid limit, and
percentage of sand or gravel. To calculate the coefficient of uniformity how D10, D30, and D60
are determined. As a summary the test results must be shown both in the tables and figures.
-Conclusions
By doing the tests and evaluating them which values are obtained?
