You might choose one particular socio-cultural issue as your theme, tracing it throughout different design movements/styles, or choose any theme you want, as long as that theme allows you to address one or more socio-cultural issues throughout different design movements/styles (covered in textbook).
You will select and curate at least six thematically connected works of art that support an identified thesis about a significant cultural issue. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your command of visual analysis and historical research, while at the same time expressing your own passions, worldview, or personal interests.
Your "theme" is simply the common thread that binds all your visual examples together, and you must address one or more socio-cultural issues in your analysis of each example.
Write a short paragraph that (1) states your proposed topic, (2) includes appropriate explanation, and (3) contains a strong thesis statement (underline your thesis statement).
Project Description:

Your prospectus must cover a broad chronological range (at least five different design periods or styles (including contemporary)) and at least three different design mediums (e.g., graphic design, industrial design, etc.).
