The critical reflection and reflection journals should include the following:
-A concise description of the main ideas, concepts or arguments discussed in the text. Try to be concise in your descriptions.
-All the readings discuss authors, concepts and provide examples. Which among those ideas, theories, arguments, were authors were relevant to you personally? Please describe why using your sociological imagination, as described in the first lecture.
-What is the specific conclusion or “take home message” of the text?
-At the end of your journal, write 1 original and thoughtful question that the readings sparked. I will choose and discuss some of those questions in the weekly lectures, and other questions will be chosen to be discussed through our online platform.
