School Age (6 to 11 years of age)

Ethical Development
When were you first aware of your ethical foundation? You will probably need to call a parent or guardian and ask when your ethical foundation began to develop.
When have you consciously noticed it developing through your adolescent and/or adult years?
Who or what was instrumental in the development of your ethical foundation and ethics during this stage of your life?
Who taught you right and wrong?
What were the ethical principles that were taught to you during this stage of your life?
Are there any books, philosophies or religious instruction that were instrumental during this stage of your life? If so, what were they?
Ethical Challenges
Write about examples of when and where your ethical foundation was reinforced or challenged during this time frame.
What issues did you encounter?
How were these issues resolved?
What are life lessons that you learned during this stage of your life?
Include stories that involve family, friends, the community, school (kindergarten, elementary, teachers, coaches), sports, or anyone or anything else that was involved

with any challenges or reinforcements to your ethical foundation or ethics in general.
