The purpose of the Cross-Curricular Grid is to demonstrate competency a) analyzing grade-level S.C.
Academic Standards and Performance Indicators for Science, b) determining impact of previous and future
Standards (vertical alignment), c) correlating Cross-Cutting Concepts with content and Science & Engineering
Practices, d) identifying potential cross-curricular connections, and e) synthesizing a-d when planning
instruction. The Cross-Curricular Grid will be done using Google Sheets or Forms and submitted via Canvas
