he most common sampling method is the convenience sample; therefore, many of the studies that you find for evidence use this sampling method. What are the implications of using a convenience sample on the way that you interpret and use the findings?

This week we will examine sampling methods, specifically convenience sample. You will discuss why this method is used. In addition to the above question please also answer the following in your post:

Compare the sampling strategies for quantitative studies with qualitative studies. What negative effects could occur if you used a quantitative sampling method for a qualitative study and vice versa?
What methods are used to come up with a probability sample? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each method?
What is selection bias? How can it be controlled? How does selection bias affect the potential use of evidence yielded by research that has a sample with selection bias?
