Salesman's empathy, impact on overall customer satisfaction
This is basically a research proposal for my dissertation. However, here is the required outline below. We don't have to do the experiments, but please follow the below outline. You have permission to adjust the title/topic slightly to fit exactly the research. I. Introduction a. What is the opportunity /problem you want to address (the gap you will fill)? The introduction begins broadly and then becomes more specific. b. Why is it important to address this problem? c. Briefly explain how you plan to fill that gap in knowledge (these are your 1-2 primary objectives). Please make the purpose of your study crystal clear in these sentences. II. Literature review a. What is already known about this problem and how does it relate to your current objectives? This is where you bring to bear the existing knowledge base and demonstrate how you are contributing. This will be the longest part of your introduction. b. Hypothesis development – specify clearly stated, falsifiable hypothesis. These can be worked into your literature review. Where applicable, we suggest creating a figure summarizing your hypothesized relationships. III. Sample, design and measurement a. Sample – provide information on the target population; who will comprise the sample; sample characteristics; how participants will be recruited and selected. b. Study Design i. Describe your design ; correlation observational case study quasi experiment. c. Operational Definition of variables and measurements i. An operational definition describes how you will quantify your variables (independent, dependent, controls) ii. Describe how you will measure these variables, this will also be your data source iii. how will you collect the data a. company records b. survey data, (how/what) c. Observational - describe what/who to observe IV. Analyses a. Describe the statistical procedures you will use to test each of your hypothesis and the specific information you will use in the process.
