You are assigned to unit 2B06 with your partner, H. Schnike #38766. You work out of the South Side station.
You are dispatched at 16:28 for a possible robbery to 2200 S. Oracle Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90004.The location
is a Jonesy’s Auto Parts store.The call number is 1578. You meet the victim Thomas Crown in the parking lot of
the store.The victim tells you the following:“I was just stopping by Jonesy’s to pick up some windshield wiper
cleaner. My windows get very dirty andit really bothers me. I bought a 32oz bottleof the cleaner and then left
the store As I walked towards my carI saw a male approach me and ask for change. He smelled bad and his
clothes were dirty. I told him I don’t carry cash with me. The man then became angry and said ‘How comeyou
have such a nice car and yet no cash?’I tried explaining to him that income and cash in the wallet are not
related but he didn’t want to listen. My caris not that nice, I bought it used. It had several thousand miles on it
when I bought it. It is a 2016 model.He took a gun from his waistand pointed it at me. He then demanded I
hand over the wiper fluid. I was loathe to do so, but I realized I had no choice.I gave him the wiper fluid and my
watch to get rid of him. He ran off towards the apartment building behind Jonesy’s.I immediately called the
police and waited right here.”He describes the suspect as a male Hispanic brown hair/brown eyes, 5-6, 150
pounds, about 40-50 years old. He waswearing baggy blue jeans with a black “DoctorWho”t-shirt. The gun was
a small, dark colored revolver.You search the area and are unable to locate the suspect or any witnesses. The
