Why is this assessment relevant?
Reviewing your fellow health colleague’s performance or written work is an important part of professional practice requiring a thoughtful and strategic approach. Within this assessment you will be presented with one of your fellow student’s project proposals to review and provide feedback. This presents opportunity to explore other health program ideas and develop your skills in reviewing health documentation and providing constructive feedback.
Assignment Criteria:
Review the project grant submission you have been allocated and provide feedback using the provided Mock Grant Peer Review Template. Comments must be kept between 50-150 words for each section. When reviewing your colleagues submission consider:
• Is the health program SMART: specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely
• Will it meet the communities needs
• Is it easy to read
• Is the information relevant and would this be a program you could envision working
Preparation:
• A guide on writing a grant application can be found here: https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/help/writing-grant
• Conduct further research using Health Science libguide, and review journal articles.
• Review the resource provided on peer review and how to provide feedback
Presentation:
• A Mock Grant Peer Review Template for peer review has been provided and this is mandatory to use. See the attached template document
• Adhere to standard academic writing and paragraphs.
• Use 11 or 12pt font either Calibri or arial preferred.
