Write an informational paper about an area of public policy that interests you. Define the scope of your paper (what area of public policy area are you going to discuss) and why you chose the topic. Set your issue/topic in its historical context. (when was it created/started and any significant moments in its history) Discuss significant laws or events that affect your are of public policy. (For example, the ACA and healthcare policy or the ESA and environmental policy) Discuss federal. state, and if applicable local agencies that deal with your area of public policy. Discuss current issues in your area of public policy (this will be the bulk of your paper).
