Public Budgeting and Finance for Emergency Managers Current Events

Each student will be responsible, for reviewing and presenting a relevant, recent article concerning any
state or local budget issue. A brief presentation will be made in class offering your personal observations,
applying principles and insight you gain in class. A short (no more than two page) synopsis of the article
and your comments should be handed in. This exercise will be counted as part of your class participation
grade.
