The video takes you through different stages of motor development:
- Reflexes
- Pre-locomotor
- Proximodistal development
- Locomotor and
- Fundamental Movement Skills.
I. For each of these stages provide the following:
a) Characteristics of that particular stage
b) Approximate age
c) Role of an adult.
The last stage is Fundamental Movement Skills which consists of running, jumping, climbing, throwing and catching.
II. Provide examples for each of these categories as they relate to differences among age.
Finally, Motor and Skill Related Fitness discusses the following categories: Agility, Balance, Coordination, Power, Reaction Time and Speed.
III. Discuss how each one of them relates to later development. Provide examples.
