  Progressivism reflect on the political views of Woodrow Wilson. The first part of your essay will simply be a review to show your understanding of Wilson’s views: briefly outline Wilson’s critique of American government as conceived by the framers and explain how presidential leadership can overcome these problems. You can even draw on other progressives After reviewing, your major task is to offer your own evaluation of Wilson’s view of American government. You may focus on his view of the Presidency or his view of politics more broadly. To offer a framework for a response: you might draw on the Founders (Federalists or Anti-Federalists) for a critical response, you might agree wholeheartedly with his diagnosis of government and the needs of society, you could agree with his progressive ends but disagree with the means (in which case, what’s an alternative?
