A problem statement clearly identifies the issue at hand that you think may be addressed through your project. Be accurate and succinct. The problem statement MUST be related to a healthcare management topic. not a clinical one. A good problem statement is no more than a single sentence. Your problem statement assignment will include the following:
A brief, yet clear and explicit description of the organization. A description of the problem being observed or experienced in the organization. Include the specific department (if appropriate) or the context where the problem is being experienced. Who is being affected? What is the impact of the problem on the organization? Provide as many details to describe the problem that you can. A single sentence that explicitly states the problem.
