The purpose of the Instructional Plan Part 1 assignment is to incorporate the concepts of the course into an educational solution for a real-world problem. Planning for instructional events has two parts. This part of the plan will be explaining what you want to teach, information about your learners, and the revised learning outcomes. The second part, which will be completed later in the semester, will be preparing for the actual teaching of a class. Using the SAME problem identified in your Target Audience assignment, prepare an instructional plan that addresses the problem.
The focus of the Instructional Plan Part 1 is background information that guides decision-making in the development of the instructional event. In four to five pages (excluding the title page and the references), part one of the Instructional Plan explains the problem, summarizes the purpose of the education, and presents the desired learning outcomes.
Also, to be included are how you would determine the learning needs assessment, summarize the learner or learners, and facilitators and barriers to learning. Discussion is to be substantiated from the literature. Includes at least three sources. One may be the text and at least two sources from the literature to support the position/s.
There will be three sections for this paper, an introduction, discussion, and conclusion. An introduction does not include a heading due to its position in the paper. Include level one (major) headings for the Discussion and the Conclusion. Use level two headings (secondary to level one) to divide sections further. You do NOT need the Methods or Results sections for this assignment.
After the introduction, use the bulleted topics as your Level Two headings as you did in the Learning Theories paper. The full list of topics is below. This makes the paper organized and easy to follow. It also helps you to make sure you covered every topic that is in the instructions. So, it should look like this:

Your paragraph(s). Include who your learners will be. What age ranges? Profession or skill level or patient population? Also, include how you will determine their specific learning needs so that you can prepare class materials to meet the needs.
Facilitators and barriers to learning (for the learners that you will be teaching)
Your paragraph(s). Include what will help or hinder or prevent your students from learning in the class.
Conclusion
