GOVERNMENT 2305
As referenced in the Syllabus---see the tab "Term Paper" on eCampus--a research and writing assignment is required of all federal and Texas government students. The due date for this assignment is not later than Monday, November 25, and must be submitted on eCampus under the tab Term Paper. Students may use either style of paper they prefer; however, I would like a title page and bibliography page and a paper of at least 4-6 pages in length, not including the title page and bibliography pages

What are the latest proposed reform efforts from among the various Democratic presidential candidates and President Trump to improve the nation's health care system?
Discuss the impacts of Illegal immigration upon the United States and evaluate reform initiatives under the Trump administration as well as proposals from among the various Democratic presidential candidates.
Tax reform efforts under the Trump administration. What is needed to improve the US economy and to make its benefits available to more Americans?
Anthropogenic climate change--what is the impact of humans on the earth's climate? Are the cost/benefits of government action to reduce CO2 worthwhile or could our efforts be better directed towards reducing disease and poverty in the world?
Supreme Court policy interpretations and rulings--how are these expected to change with the Trump administration's last two conservative Court appointments?
Political bias in the "mainstream" media--how extensive is it and what is "fake news?"
Why are the media and the Trump administration at odds with one another? Is Trump right to challenge the mainstream media for working against him and trying to undermine his Presidency?
What do the Trump administration's liberal critics think has happened to minorities and people of color since he became President? Is Trump a racist and/or a believer in white supremacy? Do you agree or disagree? Why?
What should the Trump administration do about the ongoing nuclear threat posed by North Korea?
Should the Trump administration continue its current trade policies against China or attempt a new approach?
