Political Inquiry (Statistics) Order Description   The Gender Gap We saw in class that in 1948, there was a gender gap in turnout: men reported voting at a higher rate than women. Does that relationship persist today? Using either the 2008 OR 2016 NES, make a table comparing the turnout rates for men and women. Use gender and recall of vote in previous presidential election (V1 and V9 for 2008, V1 and V8 for 2016). Calculate appropriate percentages. Submit a complete table with both raw frequencies and appropriate percentages reported, and a sentence or two explaining what you find in the data.
