Personal Budget

  1. Calculate a personal budget based on your expected earnings and expenses once you graduate.
  2. Anticipate expenses such as medical, car loans, home loan or rent, student loans, food, clothing, retirement, etc.
  3. The budget should show monthly needs and totals and identify those expenses which may be tax deductible.
  4. Provide a short description of each line item explaining what the expense will get you. For example, if you have an auto loan, provide the type of vehicle and how much the loan is for, the term, and interest rate. Determine the life of the vehicle and have a savings plan for buying the next vehicle when needed/wanted.
  5. This project when done well will take 5-10 pages to calculate budgets and provide descriptions.
