Org602- Organizational Studies II (THEORETICAL MODELS AND PATH DIAGRAMMING)

THEORETICAL MODELS AND PATH DIAGRAMMING
In this Module 2 SLP, you will build on your work in Module 1 to continue the development of your research proposal. Review the background readings on preparing a literature review.

In this assignment, you are to write a paper in which you:

Formulate hypotheses, develop a literature review, and create a path diagram to illustrate your developing theoretical model.
SLP Assignment Expectations
Building on your work in ORG601 and the ORG602 Module 1 SLP, add two additional related hypotheses to the one you have already developed. Your aim will be to test these three hypotheses within the framework of a single model. At least one of the hypotheses should have a moderator or mediator variable, and based on the feedback you received on your ORG602 Module 1 SLP assignment, retain or revise your hypotheses accordingly.
You have already identified and drawn upon three (3) or four (4) research articles that directly relate to the hypotheses that will comprise your model. Identify and read three (3) or four (4) additional research articles to supplement the ones you already have.
With a focus on the variables in your hypotheses, write a thorough, but succinct description of the studies in each of the articles that you have identified.
After describing each study, evaluate the study with a focus on how your own model builds on, but also furthers, the research in the article you have described.
Create a graphic presentation of your model or conceptual framework. Be sure to indicate whether you hypothesize a positive or negative relationship between variables. Also, be sure you are clear about the different ways that a moderator or mediator is included in a path diagram (graphic model).
