• Explore and research each web link provided

• Compare relevant statistics for incidence, prevalence, morbidity, mortality
• Analyze differences and similarities
• Develop an appropriate nursing sensitive intervention to improve outcome

Slide 6: 30 points
• Explore “Fast Stats” to create a display of selected data for cancer type
• Compare 2 state cancer profiles list key data results, comment on differences or
similarities
• Explore Confidence Intervals for Ranks -select one of the 2 databases (US Mortality or
US Cancer Incidence) explain results depicted either by State, County or Special Region
• Explore Cancer Statistics Animator and explain the trends depicted
