Scientific debate mainly lays in the approach to solve these climate change-related problems. Many scientists advocate that technological solutions ranging from sustainable
energy harvesting to circular strategies to improve resource-efficiency. However, some argue that the real solution does not lay in technology, and we should first address the societal issues associated with hyper-capitalism and cause a global mentality change.
