Assignment 4B – Non fiction:
Write an analytical essay (900-1200 words) in which you analyse Daniel Magruder’s article “My Best Friend Died by Suicide. I Wish I Had Seen the Warning Signs” and discuss what can be done to help veterans who suffer from trauma.

Part of your essay must focus on the writer’s use of pathos. In addition your essay must include an analysis of the style of writing in lines 73-88.
