As a learner in the Occupational Health and Safety course
Choose an accident that you have experienced (or anyone of you may know),
that is related to any failure or weakness in occupational or work system. Analyze
the accident case, determine the reasons behind this weakness(s) or failure(s).
Try to find solutions (more than one alternative) for this case. It is important to
recommend more than one alternative and choose the best alternative that can
suit the organization where the accident happened.
You will submit your work to the workshop platform activity created on the VLE.
This will allow your peers to assess your work. 80% of the marks will be allocated
to your submission, and 20% of the marks will be allocated to the feedback and
assessment that you will do for other peers.
Many examples of accidents in the workplace have been discussed in the class
that can be of great guide for you.
