Nutrition Scientific Research Reviews

Nutrition Scientific Research Reviews – Nutrition in Health and Disease:
Read and summarize one published scientific nutrition research paper on health and nutrition of interest to you.
The article must come from peer-reviewed journals, such as the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Journal
of the American Dietetic Association, Journal of the American Medical Association, or find on PubMed, etc.
(Ask me if you need to clarify this.) Include a summary of the purpose of the study, methods used, the results
and the conclusion of the researchers in your own words. A Turnitin score >25% means you are "too close to
your sources".. Limit your discussions to 4-6 pages, typed, double spaced. Grammar, spelling and punctuation
will be considered in the grading of all written work. Submit through Canvas. Grading rubric in Table below
Usually, to describe a research paper you use “Introduction”, “Materials and Methods”, “Results” and
“Discussion/Conclusion”.
A few notes about the research papers to keep in mind as you are planning on writing your paper. For all paper
options, be sure to properly cite your sources on a reference page and remember than anything taken directly
from the article should be in quotation marks. If you have questions about APA formatting, the Purdue OWL
