: New Work of Social Commentary & Justification

Final Project: New Work of Social Commentary & Justification For your final project you will be creating your own original work of social commentary. You may use pieces that are not your own, but the final product must be something completely new. You will be informally sharing this with the class and also writing a 2 page justification of your rhetorical decisions to create the meaning you indicate, as well as presenting a plan that includes (a) target audience(s) and how you intend to reach them. This work can take any form - a visual, poem, video, performance, song, meme, multi-media work, etc. that is created and shared once - or it can be more of a campaign, like a logo or hashtag or poster that might be used in various ways (present a few options). The main assessment will come on the justification - your thinking behind the work rather than the work itself. Sharing with the class will happen in the last few class periods and the justification will be handed in as part of your final portfolio. Please hand the justification in as part of the portfolio, not here. First page need to have one poem with picture(draw) and 3 questions that need to answer, and other 2 pages are justification. Use few sentences to answer the 3 questions: 1. Who is the audience? 2. What is the medium to connect with? 3. What is the meaning(take away/action)
