  “Requirements for Non-profit Hospital under Affordable Care Act” for my term project: Term Project Requirements: As a term project you will choose a policy change under the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obama Care), which might have an impact on healthcare institutions. I expect you to identify how the specific policy change you choose may have altered incentives of agents in healthcare markets (i.e. patients, healthcare personnel, hospital managers etc.). Given your background and theoretical knowledge you gained through this course, I expect you to reflect on the specific policy change and its possible effects on how a hospital operates. More specifically in your term paper, I expect you to mention: -the policy change and its intended effect on incentives of different agents in the U.S. healthcare market -identify any challenges and potential unintended effects on incentives of different agents in the U.S. healthcare market -main discussion points about the policy change and a summary of opposing views -your comments about relevance of these discussions, their possible effects and possible challenges for a healthcare institution manager. I expect term projects to be around 800-1000 words long and strictly no longer than 1200 words. On the other hand, I expect your term projects to precisely address all the items above. Longer term projects do not mean they are better, but shorter projects face the challenge of being incomplete.
